We missed Miss Murphy so much that we searched immediately for a new cocker spaniel. The only ones we could find in our area were puppies so we ended up getting a 9 week old pure black female from a litter of five. We have named her Itsy Bitsy and we are trying to housetrain her with more success than failure but still have had a few accidents along the way.
She is teething and fingers and toes are always in jeopardy from her sharp teeth! I try to dissuade her from them with rawhide chews and toys. She is lots of fun to watch as she tears the stuffing out of her little bear.
