Holidaze are meant for Spices – Dry Stout

Kit is Fireside Dry Stout

1 gallon batch brewed 12/24/2020

Dark DME, UK Malts and Roasted Barley, Nugget bittering hop. Windsor dry yeast

Jo added 1/2 cinnamon stick, 4 Star Anise and 1 tsb cloves in the last 10 min of the boil.

We modified to brew 2 gallons. We did not take a gravity reading.

Fermentation active in 4 hours. First blow off tube for a small batch.

Bottled to 4 flip tops January 9th. FG 1.020

Drank first flip top January 29th. Strong cinnamon flavor.

Adding the yeast.
This is our first stout.
